LOL....yep, I graduated in ‘58 so I guess I’m just a young buck. Ducks Ass is correct, I was trying to be polite. I think people need to realize that there are certain types of dress that they should be concerned about. I was raised in L.A. and when you saw Chinese gangs roaming around with a ducks ass, they wore them a certain way and you best be careful around them, same goes for the Mexicans. Ignore it and you could be in big trouble. Just like the hoodies.

Ah yes 1957. But I lived in Kansas and the guys with duck tails also wore black leather jackets or a white tee shirt with a pack of cigarettes rolled up in one sleeve. I preferred the guys with the white bucks, button down shirts and burr cuts - probably because my parents said I did. Always wondered what it would be like to date one of the other types but....

'57 is my year too!!!CMHS, Waukesha, Wis. the style was ivy league...button down shirt collars, pegged slacks (black) and "spade or snap-jack" shoes...VERY SHARP. My clothing in my after school mode was far classier than what I see kids wearing to school today. When will schools figure out that clothing can control much behavior and that the school, not the crumb-crunchers, make the rules.
