Season 2 ended tonight. I know its not everyone's cup of tea, but I don'tmiss an episode.
I was wondering the same thing as I watched the episode.
If you find out, let me know! :)
My 14 year old daughter started laughing saying sense when do shot guns have that many shells in them?
And you’re also right— why don’t Hershel and his kids have any clue where to go or what’s nearby?
“My 14 year old daughter started laughing saying sense when do shot guns have that many shells in them?”
Well, as I was telling MY 14-year-old girls: “This show is so fackey!” (I also mentioned that too bad they don’t have some AR-type rifles available.)
What is the fascination with modern Undead shows? Vampires and Zombies. I don’t get it.
I’m not knocking it. However people are entertained is up to them and the more entertained the better. It takes the heavy off life and gives joy.
But the huge number of undead shows on TV mystifies me. I don’t understand the appeal.
Is it that political correctness have left the undead as the only enemies you can have today without offending someone. I mean, Vampires and zombies don’t have any real members in life to sue studios and threaten them with boycotts.
I understand that vampire shows appeal heavily to women. Maybe the zombie shows are similar. And being a man, I just don’t get the appeal.
Try this: The Walking Dead Online(s)
Works well, spread the word... *grin*
My family loves this show. My girls have the graphic novels, and those are even better!! The place at the end was a prison.
Farmageddon!
I've read all the comic books so I am guessing it was the Prison. Also the Chick with the sword and the two walkers on chains (who saves Andrea in this last EP) shows up around the time they discover the prison in the comic book.
Did someone say Hatt-Baby???
You can also download the shows on Amazon VOD. That’s what I do I also bought a Roku so I could stream amazon vod netflix to my Tv. I don’t miss cabel.
Nope, there are two seasons now... about 24 Episodes total (In this new TV age a season is around 12 Episodes.)
You sir are correct! I've read the comic books, all 94 of them (which is how the Walking Dead started) and the Prison story arc happens after "Farmageddon".
What is nice about the TV show is the creators decided to make it different from the comic books. The Big Story seems to be the same (trying to survive ZOMPOC) but they changed some of the characters and smaller parts of the story so even if you have read all the comic books you aren't really sure just exactly how the TV series will work out.
I enjoy both immensely and I am not a big fan of comic books anymore but The Walking Dead Comic is sorta like an old pulp novel it has a charm about it at the same time a lot of drama and intensity that is rare in any form of modern story telling.
Yeah that is how I surmised it. I think Rick and crew may have been immune to the original virus But now it has mutated and with them constantly battling Walkers they have gotten scrapes and scratches and been covered in blood and zombie gore enough they have the virus in them.
Now when they die their Immune system shuts down and the virus reanimates the cerebral cortex (like was shown in the last few Episodes last year at the CDC.)
Yeah even the wife questioned that one and she knows jackshit about guns (well she knows which end is the business end and can hit what she shoots at) I am guessing the shotgun of Herschel's held maybe 9 shells at best (I know you can modify standard shotguns by changing the the loading tubes).
He was pumping out shots like it was a combat model shotgun with a 50 round drum!
Simple, they are the only enemies "good guys" can smoke with wreck less abandon and without any trace of moral ambiguity.
They don't have kids, or pets, or families. They are amoral, parasitic, implacable, and neither ask nor offer, quarter.
In short, indulging ones bloodlust by destroying them is a meritorious act, by definition...very much like the appeal of Islam.
WD is a mirror reflection of our modern culture: feelings of impending doom followed by mind-blowing horror followed by emptiness. The zombies are all around us - at some point we know we'll have to defend ourselves against them. So there is just something mesmerizing about the show. I can't wait for next season!
Just watched it. Wow so Rick has turned into Obama “This ain’t a Democracy anymore.”
Can you believe that Hatt Baby and AYBABTU are like, 10 years old?????
Dale was destined to be a zombie no matter what happened, since he was chomped on. That's why Daryl put a bullet in his head.
No matter how they became zombies, a bullet to the head ends the nonsense.
No because then I gotta believe you and I are Ten years older...
(Where in the hell did all that time go?)
