Why do you feel compelled to drag any quote or misquote into the discussion that would cast doubt on the Divinity of Christ? People who do that are no servant of God. You relentlessly attack Jefferson, when in fact he was a very moral man compared to our recent occupants in the Oval office.
>>You relentlessly attack Jefferson,
If anybody is “attacking” Jefferson, it’s the revisionist walltards who evidently have a problem with historical Truth.
Fact - Jefferson rejected the Trinity.
Fact - Jefferson wrote the Jefferson Bible.
I simply join Jefferson in his ETERNAL HOSTILITY TOWARD EVERY FORM OF TYRANNY OVER THE MIND OF MAN — especially the agenda-driven, cherry picking, religified kind.
So wave to the backside of my lifted kilt ya flatulent gasbag.
Every form eof tyranny xcept your very own. Your concern is appreciated and rejected.
Pointing out that Jefferson rejected the Trinity and wrote the Jefferson Bible is not tyrannical, it’s just the Truth; and my observation is that weak faith is far more likely to be withered by liars in the pulpit who exclude Truth rather than being honest about it and trusting their Creator to lead them through it.
Since he has been dead a couple hundred years, I never give him a though and who cares.. :O)
Why do you hate Barton?
[Bill your sole purpose seem to be to spread doubt about the Gospel of Christ,]
This thread isn’t about the Gospel of Christ - it’s about Thomas Jefferson.
And Thomas Jefferson rejected the Trinity and wrote the Jefferson Bible.
“The right to search for truth implies also a duty; one must not conceal any part of what one has recognized to be true.”
—Albert Einstein
Truth is a good thing, but always telling the truth is not always good, some truths are better left unspoken.
>>some truths are better left unspoken.
No doubt eunuch wolves who squalk from the pulpet and dress themselves in vestigial plumage from the Roman/Eqyptian/Bablylonian Empire's syncretic sun-worshiping cult agree with you.
I don't. And Jefferson evidently didn't either.
Jefferson didn't reject God, he just rejected wolves like you and Barton who assume dominion over the faith of others.
NO SALE.
>>I challenge you to point out
Barton's agenda-driven history of LIES is one of omission. For example, observe what ISN'T referenced in the Wallbuilder website:
There's ONE mention of the Virginia Act for the Establishment of Religious freedom on WallBuilders.org
And that didn't appear until a couple of months ago.
It is what it is.
So you can't name any? Thanks.,
Very interesting — I didn’t realize Hemmings was his sister-in-law.
Lies of omission, Parrot.
You don’t get to decide which Truths should be hidden and which the public should be allowed to see for themselves.
I guess you get to decide which ones are hidden since you get all worked up about Barton. Just post one lie he has published, or shut up.
But please, don't shut up. Your agenda-driven quacking illustrates quite succinctly why neither You, nor David Barton, nor the Shariaists in the Taliban are allowed to define religious Truth for American Individuals - for whom Almighty God hath Created the Mind FRee.
Except on FRee Republic where the Mormonophobes all hang out
How’s the Glasslooker/conartists mystery concoction of Blood Atonement on Planet Kolob thing working out for ya?
No Phobe here.
Wanna roll again?
"...who, being themselves but fallible and uninspired men, have assumed dominion over the faith of others, setting up their own opinions and modes of thinking as the only true and infallible, and as such endeavoring to impose them on others, hath established and maintained false religions over the greatest part of the world, and through all time;...that it is time enough for the rightful purposes of civil government, for its officers to interfere when principles break out into overt acts against peace and good order; and finally, that truth is great and will prevail if left to herself, that she is the proper and sufficient antagonist to error, and has nothing to fear from the conflict, unless by human interposition disarmed of her natural weapons, free argument and debate, errors ceasing to be dangerous when it is permitted freely to contradict them. ""I HAVE SWORN UPON THE ALTAR OF GOD ETERNAL HOSTILITY TO EVERY FORM OF TYRANNY OVER THE MIND OF MAN"--The Virginia Act For Establishing Religious Freedom
--Thomas Jefferson, 1786
