Peyton Manning appears to have entered the home stretch of his search for a new landing spot.
The four-time MVP quarterback will meet with Titans owner Bud Adams, coach Mike Munchak and several other club officials Wednesday at an undisclosed location amid reports he has narrowed his choices to the Broncos and Tennessee.

Hmmm, maybe the only way Elway can get out of his Tebow “problem” is to bring in someone of Manning’s stature. And I say problem only in respect to the question of whether or not to build a team around Tebow for the long haul, no value judgment intended. And it would be a VERY interesting gambit for the Jags.
“disgust with Irsay.”
Oh that’s rich. And familiar.
Bud Adams said “whatever it takes” and promised him a job for life in the front office. The sticking point is getting the Titan defense playoff ready.
My Neurosurgeon friends uniformly say
It would be psychotic for him to return to football
Imagine the damage to the all involved
when he is made quadriplegic by a blindside tackle
He should hang up his pads and helmet
Tennessee has one extra advantage in that Manning is already familiar with 3 opponents quite well.
You have to wonder about the Tebow thing...
But Indy is nuts to cut him loose. Unless you see that when Peyton isn’t on the field your offense and defense suck green eggs...

I don’t think Dooley has that long.
What about Jake Locker (TEN) and Tim Tebow (DEN) ?
Locker is a talent, and Tebow has big-game magic that no coach can develop. You either have it or you don’t.
I think Peyton Manning would upgrade both teams, but one hit on already surgically repaired neck could set them back decades. It’s not a reasonable risk as neither team is going anywhere soon.
LOL! Of course I am talking about the AFC South.
Tebow, with Maurice Jones-Drew, that’s going to be pretty tough to defend against.
I wonder if Eli doesn’t win his second SB and passes Peyton, if Peyton returns?
Hey, I have lived Payton. What is his health?
I don’t think so. The new HC, Joe Philbin, has his sights set on Matt Flynn, Aaron Rogers’s back up in Green Bay.
The Fish sent WR Brandon Marshall and his arrest warrants to the Bears for two third round picks and a pack of gum. His act grew stale here in Miami.
Tebow sucks is why. He’s no Manning..
Eli already has two rings.
Right. He shredded the Pittsburgh Steelers defense for over 300 yards and beat them. That’s the team that was supposed to go to the Super Bowl based on their defense.
>>Hey, I have lived Payton.<<
Say what? Does his wife know?
Time to come home to Tennessee. We have missed you.
Didn’t know Tebow plays defense...
