People who abandon their dogs make me sick. Living in a rural area I see it all the time. The poor animals wander and either get hit by cars, starve, or shot. Rarely is there a happy ending for them.

I just had a conversation with a Texan of Mexican descent. We were talking about sick and injured dogs because he had asked for the phone number of my vet. He was telling me how things are done in Mexico and the stories weren’t pretty. Some of those people are cruel and heartless.
