What the heck does he think he's accomplishing with his asinine APOLOGY? With his STUPID apology, he has just pandered to the left. He has just had his first "Don Imus" moment. Is Rush going senile? I just don't get it. Maybe the guy really isn't all that bright.

I read Rush’s apology (for his use of certain words) over the weekend and listened to his whole show today. I was worried that Rush would have his performance adversely affected today, but he did great in his show. I think his apology struck just the right notes.
Rush is smart enough to know that he had to make some moves so that HE would not continue to be THE story. Some angry, foolish posters here are not nearly as intelligent as Rush is and don’t understand why he is taking the approach he is taking — even though he explained the reasons clearly today. So, at least for the “non dense” among us, it’s time to MOVE ON and let Rush be Rush.

Again, she says nothing in her testimony that makes ANYONE out to be a slut. She is talking about contraception and talking about the ‘pill’ being used for medical purposes (which it is). She lied and hugely inflated the cost of contraception. Rush should have argued that.
I do NOT agree that the government should require it to be covered. That is what should be argued. When Rush made it personal, he lost the argument because now it is about him and not the issue.

The $3000 was a seriously exaggerated price for birth control pills. She inflated it to make you feel sorry for the women.
Most of her tesimony was about MEDICAL uses of the ‘pill’ NOT contraceptive uses.
I don’t agree with her premise at all but let’s not misrepresent the facts.
She could then be called a Slutfessor instead of a Professor ... but that would be redundant.
