LIVERMORE (CBS 5) A 700-pound Livermore mans plea for help to lose weight has become a viral sensation on YouTube in less than 24 hours.
Robert Gibbs, who turned 23 on Friday, said he is a prisoner in his own body.
I spend most of my days right here, watching TV. Gibbs said from his couch. I have to slide forward to get off this couch. Im just trapped, and theres no way out.

I, too, hope he succeeds in losing weight and prolongs his life.
The question is who is enabling him...who is providing him with the ability to eat McDonalds, and entirely more calories then he needs.
If the man is given the opportunity too eat only 2000 cal a day, with 150 gm a day of carbs, he will lose weight rapidly.
There is no way this guy get into a car and goes to the drive through to buy his own meals.
Genetics only explains so much...
>He only needs willpower and a 1200 calorie a day diet and what ever level of exercise he can handle.<
He needs to switch to a diet that severely limits the amount of fried junk, starchy, nutritionless food and food that is low in transfat and in Omega 6 fats, while emphasizing food that is high in Omega 3 fatty acids.
And he needs to exercise in the manner you mention.
