For five years I had my dream commute. Up seven miles of beach bike path from Redondo to El Segundo; year round by bicycle.
I saw these sunsets, morning fog where I could see sunspots with the right amount of density, meteor trails that turned green and ended in smoke, fires in Malibu, surfers, wave gliding pelicans I could never keep up with, kites and volleyball.
If that wasn’t enough, I also had Rush Limbaugh on tape delay playing into headphones.

I had the same thought. Hope they were moving away from the photographer, rather than toward. It was tornado time shortly thereafter, for somebody.

I’ve admired sunsets from Bangkok to Beirut and can attest that none compare to Arizona’s.

Can't vouch for AZ, but Hawaii has been a big disappointment. The Mississippi Coast has amazing sunsets.
