VANITY

You sure got the second part right. You should have added to that: "begged questions," "speculation," "mind-reading," and egregious misspelling (duel for dual). Oh, and you seem to be attributing a level of responsibility to folks who bear no legal responsibility at all for Obama becoming president. That lies with those who voted for him and with those who attested to his eligibility to run for the office.

The folks mentioned above have done a great deal in elucidating the danger of Obama and his political views and urging people to oppose him. If they had spent all that energy on the citizenship issue, we would still be at exactly the same place we are now because they have even less standing to attack this legally than others who have brought suit and, so far, failed. Nothing would have been gained. Much would have been lost.

As though Acorn-type people who revel in unConstitutional actions and perks from the government would give a rat's butt about Barry's alleged ineligibility and say, before the election, "Oh, wait a second. Maybe we can't vote for this guy who is our political soul mate and promising us giant bags of loot because it's possible he's not eligible under the Constitution and there's nothing we revere more than an originalist interpretation of the Constitution."

I guess, though, mentioning the well-known names and slurring them gets you more hits for your vanity post than if you had confined your comments to the relatively unknown, though culpable, officials who in every state attested to Barry's eligibility.

If they had spent all that energy on the citizenship issue,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

This is a strawman.

No one here on Free Republic has suggested that any talk show host spend **all** their time on the citizenship issue.

It is hard to defend a strawman of **your** creation.

That should say:
No one here on Free Republic has suggested that any talk show host spend **all** their **energy** on the citizenship issue.
