EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. -- A teacher in Eagle County was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust with a pattern of sexual abuse.
Lauren Redfern, 25, is a physical education teacher at Basalt High School.
Redfern is accused of having sex with a 17-year-old male student over a duration of 4 months, deputies said.
She is being held without bond until she makes her first appearance before a judge.

Be carefully you all. There are some crazies here that will call you a pedophiles for kidding around around about males 14 and up over being excited about a having sex with a grown woman. Guess they would rather the male experiment on the little girls.

I agree-I said in another post that it is like a supervisor bullying a worker in that manner-using a position of authority to coerce an individual into having sex. A nasty thing to be sure, but not statutory rape or sex with a child. Whether supervisor or teacher, such a thing should be a matter of record for any future potential employer to see.
My husband of 56 years and I were married age 15 and 17.
I think he rather enjoyed sex at that age. And he was most consenting
