On Sunday in Los Angeles, 31-year old Kim Kardashian was spotted going to church. Her mother and stepfather were also seen with the reality star. She was seen carrying a booklet in her hand that said, “Angels.”
There has not been any official word as to why Kim attended church, but many are speculating that she may be seeking spiritual guidance due to her troubled divorce from Kris Humphries.

I really hate to admit that I know this, but some headline said she was hoping this would attract Tim Tebow.
If this leads her to a better life, good for her.

I feel sorry for Kim. When I was her age, I had four young children and was going through a very tough time. I went to church almost every day - don't think I would have survived otherwise.
True. Any indication of what kind of church it was?

If something, anything made her seriously go to church, it’s a start.
Maybe the whole Whitney Houston thing scared the holy cr*p outa her. It should have.

Did the same in ‘83 when I was unemployed and I still had two young ones to feed. Thought my life was over.
Prayed for death so that my life insurance would take care of the family, but received an exciting and better second career, instead.
I liked God’s alternative choice so much better.
It’s hard to tell from the summary on the site whether the pastor is going to offer feel-good blather, or a message that could turn a wasted life around. Maybe it depends on what the attendee brings with him to begin with.
Anyway, best wishes. Everyone deserves better than the life Kim Kardashian has now.

Good for her- I wouldn’t mock or make fun. Before I started attending church, I lived a lifestyle that would have made Lindsay Lohan say “Wow”. I was nervous to even attend church my first time, for fear of my reputation in the community causing people to snicker. So I see this as a great step for Kim, hope she continues it.
It wasn’t Whitney. Kim’s mother is a MFH and her reality show is hardly watchable now and she’s getting few calls to endorse anything.
She was starting to go to church before Whitney died.

I went just because I needed to be out of the house and with some people (the library was our other sanctuary), and found unconditional love from all kinds of people: retired couple, widows, college students, landscape workers off the street. It kept me going until my family situation improved, and I did everything I could in that church until we moved.

She went to Catholic hs in Calif. But her first wedding when she was 19 was a Las Vegas civil wedding.
I saw her at the Indy 500 a couple years ago, she's actually very short, maybe 5 ft tall.
