Whitney was a screechy, screamer who absolutely and totally ruined Dolly Parton's love song. Dolly sang it gently and with feeling . . . this foghorn started slow and then blasted our eardrums.

I've never understood how people are considered good singers because they scream at the top of their lungs and try to turn any note into an attempt to go up and down the scale 32 times.

Same thing with that munchkin up in Canada, what's her name, Celine Dion? When Dion got done with My Heart Will Go On, my ears were bleeding.

Sorry, but Houston might have had a couple good songs, but in this case, Dolly's song I will always love you, Houston ruined it with her "I will always love you ou ou ouou ou ou!"

She was beautiful and had a great voice, but, like Celine Dion, she would wind up screaming. Could not stand to listen.

And I am really, really sick of the obscene amount of coverage her death has gotten. Last night, with FOX, you would have thought a head of state had passed away.
