Romney has no detailed plan for Opec, China or anything. Trump's endorsement based on generalities?

Unlike Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney has not detailed or spoken of his policy positions in detail. Why? Is Romney an empty suit? Trump said he endorsed Romney based his talking about China and OPEC oil cartel. I have not heard one detailed policy speech about China or oil from Romney. Romney's web page only has cursory mentions of China, no detail. Compare Romney's student council level of speeches with the detailed speeches and web page content give by Newt Gingrich. Newt.org. Trump's speeches and TV appearances are extremely shallow and devoid of any detail. He repeats his sentences over and over with no increase in content. He is basically a media cheerleader. Give Gingrich a real serious look, if you want to change America for the better economically, culturally, educationally, militarily, patriotism, but most of all---VOTE NEWT FOR CITIZEN PARTICIPATION-------ie..PEOPLE POWER.

I think Trump has been shopping his endorsement around for quite awhile now. I wonder what he got for it?

—Trump’s endorsement based on generalities?—

Duh. He said that Mitt would not “let anything bad happen”.

He thinks the electorate is made of of nothing but children. He is more correct than I am comfortable with.

Whether you like him or not, Romney does have a 160 page plan that includes trade and energy policies, and how to deal with China and OPEC.

Sounds like a manifesto... Nothing this man says writes or does can be believed. He is a skinwalker....

Why can’t Mitt summarize his China and OPEC policies in speeches?

In the big picture, no one cares who Trump endorses. He is a legend in his own mind.

Actually I’m kind of relieved now that I know Trump isn’t on the same side as I am.

I am not a Mitt supporter. I don't know what he says on the stump. The subject of China and trade has come up a number of times at the debates and all the candidates talked about how they would crack down on them for currency manipulation, unfair trade policies, etc. using sanctions and the like. They all, including Obama, like to talk tough when it comes to China when on the campaign trail, but in the case of Obama, do nothing.

I guess when someone holds $1 trillion of your debt, you are a little more cautious about what you say and do when you are in power and can actually do something.

Tell the RNC there is no way in HELL you will vote for Romney. Lets tie up their phone lines.
Office of the Chairman

Phone: 202-863-8700

Fax: 202-863-8820

Faxing will get their attention as they will have to pick up each one rather than just give you the “Yada Yada over the phone”.

These are both slick political operators so I'm sure that plausible deniability is maintained. I'm sure that there is a very clear quid pro quo understanding between the two. We serfs will probably never know even though our public money is probably involved.
