The butter is safe on my counter, since winter is here. When the sun from the kitchen window reaches the noonish apex, it softens the butter. Then I can use it on my chocolate chip muffin toast without breaking the muffer.

The butter used to stay on the counter. Until the kittahs learned to open the butter dish.

A butter overdose didn't hurt them precisely. But it was quite a mess.
