Good to hear that Kathleen enjoys her walks. Have you plotted her weight gain in books per week or books per month. I’ve decided that expressing her weight in pizzas sounds inappropriate, so will continue to use pizza equivalents only for rebates and coupons.

Stranger-than-usual things going on here. Mr. SG built a cube with a round aperture in one side for the cats to hide in. He topped it with ceramic tile that matches the floor, and we use it as a coffee/laptop table. Three of the four cats, however, like Crowbar’s kennel a lot better. Their dedicated countertop has their food and water dishes. Three of them like Crowbar’s water dish better, too. Expect the unexpected lol!

I often find the cats sleeping on Ash’s bed and even in her cage, if I come into the room unexpectedly. Jake’s current favorite spot is on the changing table.

I started learning Spanish when I was a child in California and Texas, and then studied it in junior high, high school, and college. Since college was in San Antonio, TX, I was pretty fluent by the time I graduated, although I’ve lost some vocabulary (especially verb tenses!) since then.

Our congregation has quite a few Puerto Ricans. Since many of them have been in the U.S. for a long time, their Spanish is more like what I learned in school than what’s spoken by the Central Americans. Of my regular choir members, two are Puerto Rican and two Mexican.
