“I sing the National Anthem near their ears.” I used to sing, “Now Every Sleeper Waken.” The high notes were modelled after Edith’s in rendition of “All in the Family” theme song. Got results. (Sometimes verticality, sometimes head squished between two pillows, sometimes pitiful groans.)

Story section posted in 356.
There’s linked music to go with it.

“Buenos Dias, Paloma Blanca” is useful, too, because I know all four verses. The high notes aren’t as high as the National Anthem’s, though.
Beds wired for remote-controlled electric shock would be nice.

Bump to 356 for later - I’m hoping it will be Kathleen’s naptime for a while.

Thanks. I went to the music but forgot where it was. Have been contemplating changing screen name to “Nagatha.” We’re not on the road much any more (for the last six months, anyway) and the silent part doesn’t fit any more, either. Don’t want to make hasty decisions.
Where can you get pulse cannons at a reasonable price?

Uh oh. Late start on chores. Will drop by later for check. I assume K is doing well as long as I see your general posts. Can you describe the lemon cake? Do you make it? Hyperptyalism at its best....

You can get the man portable pulsed plasma discharge cannons at “Bob’s Weaponarium and Library” on the corner of Smokey Road and Crater.

Well. I got a late start this morning, but here I am. I think.
Yesterday, I managed to get the floors done, and made a sketchy plan of how I can make the place seem bigger. Unngh...

Suspending the furniture from the ceiling would work, but then it wouldn’t be usable.

Lemon cake, you make it from a Betty Crocker mix you buy at the Walmart. With eggs and stuff.
Kathleen is doing fine - spitting a little, but babies do. We had a nap for a while.

Back to getting ready for going out (blech.)

Actually it wouldn’t work because our apartments are loaded with asbestos. What I would gain in room, i would lose in health.
But it WAS a good idea! LOL!

Ugh, asbestos.
Wonder if they still have the fallout shelter in the local middleschool lined with the stuff?

All the school here are new. (Within the last 15 years.)
When a person moves out of an apartment, contractors go is and remove the asbestos.
In the meanwhile, we have to live with/in it.
