Yeahbut...most of those "not permanent" ways end up being like leaving your body parked curbside at LAX with the doors open, keys in the ignition, and engine still running, and it really, Really, REALLY sux -- once you decide you're done gallivanting around -- to come back and find some-thing has run off with your physical self while you were out.

That's a heckuva a way to end up with a murder rap and have ZERO recall, 'cuz you REALLY weren't there, even though 37 witnesses saw you.

Yep. They're rebuilding my left shoulder on Thursday (to match my the almost now 'vintage' rebuild of my right shoulder), *and* possibly more depending on tomorrow's additional MRIs and consults (this Scoutmastering is a dangerous hobby).

They make you walk the day after a knee replacement, but not so much so with rebuilt shoulders. I was in that airplane gizmo for more than two months last time. I'll enjoy reading, but it may be an extended period before I post.

On the plus side, the Scout responsible for my right shoulder grew up to be a fine young man.

The UT needs a temporary Cephalopod Wrangler while I'm out of commission.
