Well, maybe it was intentional. I hope he signs up - we need more fun people.
He’s pretty cool. A little younger than me, of German heritage, retired military, and fun to talk to.
I will try to see him tomorrow, if I’m back from SuperCuts in time. Otherwise, it will be Monday.
In the meantime, I will have to give up the “expanded basic” programs on TV. The price has gone up AGAIN, and I just can’t afford it. Next month, with any luck at all, I will get a new phone (smartphone) and a “tether” for it, so I can reduce the cable bill by $40 a month. The initial outlay for the tether is the killer, but after that, the wireless is $10 a month on my phone bill. How can I go wrong??? LOL!
I hate being held hostage by companies!!
What does the “tether” cost?
The one I’m looking at is $70, but I need to also get the Smartphone, which is another $50. I plan on getting the phone next month, and the tether the month after.
In the meantime, I will cancel the cable upper channels. Hopefully, my Netflix will make up for that.
Probably.
The last thread he moved us to was the last time that image was used.
*snif-snif*
Just think of how dusty all the stuff in that van is now.
We got work to do.
[Meaning, send in the zombies first.]
OK, but tell the zombies to take care of DC’s bedding and leave it at THAT. He asked for zombie bedding, not bedding zombies! LOL!
(Robt warns Money that as soon as she begins talking in detail about de budding that de zombies do in de bed when they're boring bedding boring budding zombies in de bed, she's gonna need an x sticker fer de thread.
Money likes being called “’Face,” in case you din’t k-now.
“Monkey” is too primal and “MF” is too ... yah...like that. :oþ
That's because Brownian motion makes more sense than random numbers. Pure chaos is boring.
Directed chaos is fun!
I certainly don’t miss cable.
Golly. If I had your busy life, TV would be the least of my problems, except to play movies. Sadly, my life means I’m confined to home except for the times when I need groceries, need to pay bills, need to see a doctor of some sort, or attend church. And not necessarily in that order.
TV is “background noise,” and I suppose I could make do with just music and the computer....but I don’t think I know how, just yet.
*sigh*
Maybe I will just let the cable go altogether. I mean, what have I got to lose? Not money, for sure. :o]
I really like your “directed chaos,” Bob! It give me a feeling of direction!
Are you allowed to buy an antenna?
With the switch to digital TV in Canada, a $50 antenna allows us to watch as many channels as we can pick up, at no cost.
Ah, but when you walk in through the out
door are you wearing a raspberry beret?
“...raspberry beret?” We are now officially in the Twilight Zone. (I like it there. Anyway, the volunteer fire department fish fry cake baker lady made her famous peanut butter cake and remembered to bring the recipe for me, so I’m stoked!)
Ah. Sadly, Sis, we are not allowed to attach anything “permanent” to the apartment, in any way, shape or form.
I WANT MY LIFE BACK!!!
“...when you cant even trust old folks....” Sometimes, people with early-stage dementia become indignant if they’re questioned. Just a thought. And sometimes, the side of your brain that’s affected by a stroke is on the hemisphere opposite that which governs speech. They can articulate but be goofy.
