Lincoln Quotes:
Let us then turn this government back into the channel
in which the framers of the Constitution originally placed it.
--July 10, 1858 Speech at Chicago
Don't interfere with anything in the Constitution.
That must be maintained, for it is the only safeguard of our liberties.
And not to Democrats alone do I make this appeal, but to all who love these great and true principles.
--August 27, 1856 Speech at Kalamazoo, Michigan
It is not merely for to-day, but for all time to come that we should perpetuate
for our children's children this great and free government, which we have enjoyed all our lives.
--August 22, 1864 Speech to the One Hundred Sixty-sixth Ohio Regiment
I leave you, hoping that the lamp of liberty will burn in your bosoms
until there shall no longer be a doubt that all men are created free and equal.
--July 10, 1858 Speech at Chicago, Illinois
To His care commending you, as I hope in your prayers you will commend me,
I bid you an affectionate farewell.
--February 11, 1861 Farewell Address

Wonderful, Amy.
Too bad 'some people' who speak so highly of and compare themselves to Abraham Lincoln just can't seem to remember anything he said!
Don't interfere with anything in the Constitution.
Needs to be repeated over, and over, and over until they actually hear it!
