Some freeper need to educate me. I can understand GOP establishment freaking out over Ron Paul. Newt Gingrich??!!! Newt is not some unknown. He has a conservative record. In 1994 his Congress was low taxes, less regs and pro business. What am I missing??????? Aren’t RINO beholden to Wall Street more then Main Street??? Newt is not Pat Buchanan so what is the RINO backers concern about? Something is amiss here.
He rocked the boat. For 40 years the Dems ruled and the Republicans were thrown bones to keep them quiet. They could go home with pork and say that they couldn’t fight the Dems. Then Newt got a majority. Republicans actually had to GOVERN and take responsibility. The 98 budget was scheduled to cut $1 Billion. Can’t have that! Buh Bye Newt!

For approx. a year, many elites have behaved in inexplicable ways. I wonder if they have some inside knowledge of an impending collapse/crisis, and are working overtime to protect THEMSELVES and their fiefdoms. This would explain a lot.
I'm starting to think Annie doesn't like guys as much as a woman should. Add that to a complex where she likes being the smartest and wittiest in the room and have it threatened by someone like Newt and she has to go nuts. On the flip side, Romney is metrosexual enough to not be the same threat and while bright, he is a few watts short of Annie and a bunch of watts short of Newt.
There sure is. Both parties have been compromised by socialists. Newt has not been compromised. He may have a debatable record over the years but his conservative achievements cannot be denied. The socialists have no hold over him, so he is nothing but a target to them unless he can be compromised himself.
So yeah, the elite's heads are collectively popping over his rise.
