I’m cracking up at all the HOA stories. It’s like this week’s Idol subplot:)
There was a whole episode of the X-Files about a HOA, lol. Mulder and Scully moved into a neighborhood, posing as a married couple. After being read the riot act by the tyrants on the board, Mulder kicked over his mailbox.
By the time he got back inside the house, the mailbox was straight again. And clean :)

And we were looking at a gorgeous home inside one of these communities. HOAs do scare me... I love the many episodes about Frasier’s HOA. How he couldn’t put some little Thailand art on his front door, etc. And one time he angered them so much they hung an American flag across his balcony completely blocking his view and light as well, LOL. Silly silly plots but with pretty realistic HOA meetings... :)
