THAT depends on where you buy them....I have crowns too...so..............ya never buy milk duds from the gas station...you buy them from the grocery store that is closest to the local movie theater ;-)

It is like trying to get good sugar free gummy bears. You can get good (soft) ones at the D terminal at DFW, but in the malls they are always hard as rocks!
That would be the dollar store. All the better! LOL
