Does the picture look weird for anyone else?It could be the lighting. It is very orange tonight. It's like pumpkin night or something.
I wasn't sure if it was live or taped earlier in the day. Usually when it's live the scream live! LIVE! like every two minutes or so.

2 singers left and 25 minutes left in the show. A lot of time for Seacrest to kill.
Jessica is up next. She confides, softly, to Seacrest that she hurt her vocal chords in rehearsals and "my throat is a little swollen". While she says this we see footage of her looking pitiful on the bigscreen.

I call BS on all of this.
And of course, now she sings without any hint of being sick. Big loud long notes. LOL! Shameless voter manipulation!

Elise Testone
Yet another Adele song.
She's the only singer to play an instrument tonight--piano. They saved Elise for last for a reason. She hasn't had much camera time so far and she can really sing.
Steven: Elise, I'm proud of you girl! Bluesy. That's why Adele's album has been so big this year.
J-Lo: You're maybe the best singer here. I hope America got it because you are one to watch.
Randy: You are definitely a force to be reckoned with. A blusey smokey flavor. Wasn't the best peformance we've seen but I hope we see a lot more.

These girls were (mostly) very good.
Hard to pick six.
Haley, Baley and Edie Falco Jr. were the weakest.
I think Shameless Sanchez will force a better singer out :-|
