Waiting blood work to see if all this was caused by the thyroid. They say maybe or maybe not but she is down to five pounds and I don’t know if she will last to make it through any treatment. Most of all I don’t want her to suffer. She won’t eat anything, I cooked chicken and open four different flavors of cat food. Nothing.
Thanks. I see you broke free of the work to join us for a bit:)
I have no idea. Maybe the Idol website will have clips or the whole episode available later.
I really didn’t think I would be done this early. I started at 3 and finished at 7:45ish. I am usually not such a slacker about my homework, but I picked up a cold from one of the germy teenagers at school and was sick all weekend. I’m just glad it’s done.
Is she drinking water?
(((Sorry Twin)))
Yes she’s drinking water. That’s all she’s doing. Occasionally it comes out the other end:)
Yeah, tomorrow is the last audition. I hope it’s better than tonight. Portland blows.
You might try putting some warm water in some kibble. Even if all she does is drink the liquid she will get some nourishment from that.
We had to do that a few weeks ago with one of our cats. She has some sort of spinal thing going on. she couldn’t walk and just lay there. We had to hold her so she could drink water from her bowl and she would lay next to the wet kibble with water on a small dixi plate and lap it up.
She gets a steroid shot now once a week and it enables her to be able to walk around the house and eat and drink normally.
You know, I got tired of the horrific auditions, but not having them is tedious. I attribute that to too few good singers being showcased.
Can’t wait for Hollywood week though. :)
How long have you been waiting for the blood work?
Just checking in and starting the recording. Really like the first girl.

I took her to the vet Tuesday, I should have the results tomorrow. I’ll try the kibble thing and let you know. Thanks. Glad to hear your cat is better.
Ours isn’t better by a long shot, but she’s holding her own. We got lucky that some people we know suggested this vet. He taught Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State University and he also works at one of the zoos locally. He checked to see about an MRI at MSU but it would cost about $1300.00 and even then might not tell us exactly what is wrong.
He said if she holds for about 4 months we can rule out certain tumors.
We have had our other vet for a lot of years, but, sometimes she would come home and vet sick after having been there. In fact, she just over a bout of Toxoplasmosis that she caught from there. There is no place else she could have got it. It showed up in one blood work up following one that didn’t have it and it was considered a ‘new’ contraction.
Our cat is at least 12 years old and probably a little more. She’s a British Blue and a real sweety.
I hope the blood work gives your vet something to work with.
I look forward to Hollywood. That tall guy should try out for Tall Idol. Did the really tall guy get a golden ticket I can't even recall and it was just awhile ago.

That nose guy was disgusting. Do they want us to watch AI or what?
Paula breaking up too? I thought it was Nicole and that Steve guy leaving but Paula too?
