Word has it that Mr. Herman Cain, a strong conservative presidential candidate incessantly attacked by the national media, the DNC and the RINO Establishment slime machine, is in a position now to endorse in pivotal South Carolina prior to its presidential primary.
The problem is, some indications are coming out that such an endorsement, while "unconventional" may be going to Mitt Romney, the worst possible choice for the Republicans in 2012 and certainly no conservative, easily beatable by Barack Obama in November. Sucn an endorsement would be highly inadvisable. Many of us, former 2012 Cain supporters, volunteers and donors say this in unison and with passion.
I thought both Cain and Palin were under FOX contracts that say they can not publicly give their support to any one candidate. Am I wrong on that?
Like Rove? Oh, yeah, then they “can’t”.
I wasn’t trying to be a smarto..I just thought that Palin and Cain have both stated on FOX that they can not endorse per their contracts.
I don’t give a flyin’ leap about Rove. So I don’t know anything about his contract. I assume he is being paid for his push for Romney.
I’ll go one step further. I think FOX offered Palin and Cain money they couldn’t refuse..a contract to keep them from endorsing..all to keep them silenced while their supporters are starving for their endorsement of a candidate.
The hits just keep coming.

The InsiderAdvantage poll released Sunday night finds Romney with the support of 32 percent of likely GOP voters surveyed, a nine-point gain from its last poll, taken on Jan. 11. Gingrich stayed in second place, unchanged at 21 percent.”
This is why Sean (I play golf with the Bush Family) Hannity took Herman Cain under his wing. He’s useful.
The Bush-Rove-GOP Establishment Machine are getting payback because Gov. Rick Perry wouldn’t step aside in the name of “Party Politics,” as he was told, in order for retiring Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (who had done her RINO duties well for so long in the U.S. Senate) could move back home and plant her RINO butt in the Texas Gov. seat with ease. Instead, Bush-Rove had to run ($$$) a primary challenge which they lost to Perry by 20pts (Perry brought in a GOP super majority in the general election).
Now Perry is being made an example of (Nicki Haley isn’t going to fight for conservatism and incur their wrath). Isn’t it interesting that Hutchison came out immediately after Perry announced his run for the GOP nomination to publicly state she could not endorse him because he did not have business experience (he’s only the chief executive of the 13th largest economy and has been for over a decade) -— so she was signaling to those who know the drill — get your heads straight and get with Romney — or at least, don’t endorse Perry if you want to get any party help.

I could cry if it wasn’t so funny. You and good people like you weigh his achievements and experience against that of Bachman and Santorum? Your tie-breaker is what was said in the ridiculous debate follies? He didn’t grow?? He didn’t gain experience??? Good grief. He’s the most experienced, dignified, knowledgeable, prepared, engaged, and willing individual there is. A huge part of that is his military training and service.His governing experience. While Santorum has been trying on sweater vests, Perry has been governing a state. A team-player, he has raised funds and campaigned for the re-election efforts of his fellow Republicans. He has faced actual governing problems in a real life world. Perry shrunk????

I’m glad I’m not the only one who sees the insanity. The liberal is on his way to being coronated, while conservatives are still screeching “Rick Perry called me heartless!” When he said that, he ticked me off, too, and my husband, who was at the time still deciding on a candidate, put him out of the running. But Perry apologized often, and profusely, and there can be no doubt he realized he was wrong. Most importantly, if elected he would seal the border (and he knows how to do it), thereby making such issues moot.
And then there are the early debate problems, which were without a doubt caused by the post-back surgery pain. Perry healed, he got better, and now he is EXCELLENT. Good grief, did anyone see him at the Huckabee forum on Saturday? The man stood above everyone else.
I am proud to say that my husband was able to move beyond the “heartless” thing; after careful consideration, he came to the decision that Perry is by far the best candidate. He isn’t perfect, but he is a solid conservative & Christian, and he has the record of DOING what the other candidates promise. None of the others can say they have run the 13th largest economy in the world-—successfully.
And yet conservatives cannot get past the silly things; they willingly (and sometimes gleefully) participate in the leftwing media’s effort to portray Perry as a blithering idiot, instead of getting behind him and MAKING those poll numbers rise. We are letting the man we need to lead this country slip right through our fingers.

I don’t think Perry can be blamed for Newt, do you? Really? I think there are many Christians who can’t get past the wife-a-decade and a-new-religion-a-decade, no military service, a seat on the Pelosi couch, and a few other things. It’s a fact of life. Some fols can say it’s okay. Others can’t. I know Newt is a powerful force and I admire his knowledge of government. I would vote for him in a heartbeat if he made it to the general. But not without a fight. You can hardly blame Perry for Newt’s personal life that some people have a problem with. Although Cain tried to blame Perry for HIS personal life. Next we’ll have Santorum blaming Perry for a poor choice in sweater vest colors. Really gets silly, this blame Perry game.

It was the consequences of back surgery that dulled the brain reaction time. It’s the circumstances of birthplace that enhance the Texas accent. The combination left him at the starting block. Always felt the same way about Bush too. LBJ had to take voice and speech lessons after Kennedy died. I couldn’t stand listening to Herman Cain’s Georgia accent even though a huge portion of my relatives live in Georgia. The way he talked impacted my opinion of him. Still does. AND Jeff Sessions drives me up a wall on his best day even though his message is powerful most of the time. I know what you’re talking about though.
Governor Perry is a distinquished, experienced, attractive politician who is back on his game. I hope there will be enough time for it to matter to stop Romney.
I don’t blame-blame Perry. As I said, I like him a LOT and have from the start. I was just stating a fact - it’s understandable that he’s giving it the best shot he can, but the “non-Romney” vote will remain divided as long as it’s split three ways, making it easy for Mittens to coast (unfairly). I think Rick Perry has a bright future and he’s certainly young enough. But this is the most crucial election of our lifetime and we’ve got one shot to knock BHO off his throne before he finishes destroying our Republic.
We need a fearless fighter with an intellect so articulate that he’ll make BHO look like a faltering schoolboy, and Newt’s the guy who can do that with no hesitation.
Nothing throws him and the same cannot be said about the others - any of them.
