I bring it up because it's relative to the discussion. Although Tebow didn't win yesterday, he still knocked the defending AFC champ, pro-Obama Steelers out of the playoffs. Every conservative should be happy that he defeated the mainstream media's favorite team, and a team owned by a member of the Obama administration.

I'm sorry you're not over your loss, but imagine how badly the Pats would've beaten the Steelers. It might have been 72-0.

I'm not sure that it is any different than a player, coach, or GM. Are there any players, coaches, or GMs that are currently serving in the Obama administration thanks to contributions to the Democratic Party and the Obama campaign?

Didn't think so.

No it isn’t relevant to the discussion. What Dan does has absolutely nothing to do at all with any of the football going on this weekend. Unless you’re a sick obsessive that just can’t understand the difference between politics and entertainment.

We beat the Pats this year. And I’m over the loss. I just also happen to be tired of your obsessive BS. really it doesn’t matter. All that you prove every time you bring this up is that you’re obsessed. Nobody else cares. it’s your ax that you’ve ground to a pocket knife. It’s pathetic and stupid.

Unless you’re a sick obsessive that just can’t understand the difference between politics and entertainment.

Rooney's actions made it an issue. If he understood that football fans comes from all stripes, he would have followed what 99% of all other owners do and stay out of politics.

It's relevant because Tebow knocked them out of the playoffs, and we should rejoice the fact, even though the Pats creamed him yesterday. It also makes the postseason more enjoyable since the media doesn't have their team to root for. Also, there's no chance that an owner will thank Obama for making their Super Bowl win possible like Ambassador Rooney did after the Steelers won in '09.

I'm not obsessive, I'm joyful. Conservatives haven't had a lot to cheer for lately, and I'll take whatever morsel we can get, even if it comes from the sports world.

No they didn’t. You want it to be an issue. It isn’t an issue. Nobody but you cares. That’s how you should be able to tell it’s not an issue.

Nobody cares that Tebow knocked Team Obama out of the playoffs?

Not true, a lot of people care. Maybe your tears distracted you from the joy all the rest of us felt.

Oh and now you resort to lying about what I said. Very clever. Now we know that not only are you obsessed about something stupid, you’re also outed as worthless scum. Take your lies elsewhere filth. You are beneath me.

What am I lying about? Boy, you are a Steelers fan; right down to the panties in a wad.

Tebow 1 - Team Obama 0

It’s not just a better defense. Tebow has to get better. He’s made great strides, but he has a long way to go. He will not survive as an option quarterback. Defenses are too good. He needs to learn to throw the ball downfield better.

He threw pretty good downfield against the Steelers, actually where he needs to improve is on the shorter passes.

we saw that last week.....the team needs improvement in many ways....TT just added some excitement to a team that in reality had no business getting that far in the playoffs...

congrats to TT and the Broncos though....they sure gave a lot of us a good fun ride...

You’re right, he did throw well downfield against the Steelers. Some of those throws were perfect. As a passer, he clearly has the accuracy and arm strength.

I think his problem is finding open receivers. There were several instances against the Patriots where guys were open, but he didn’t see them. Over the course of the year though, he obviously improved. Hopefully some serious time with Elway over the offseason will be beneficial.
