I am loath to root for Denver but I love Tebow. The frosting on the cake is that the Steelers are among my least favorite teams so it was especially sweet to see Tebow knock off Roethlisberger.
Even so, I’m not unfair and it is patently obvious that the Steelers win at home, or if Roethisberger is healthy or if Mendenhall plays. It isn’t tied at the end under any of those 3 circumstances.
I like Brady, so Brady vs. Tebow is going to be classic, unless Denver is crushed early. Then it will just be sad. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings in the least to see Tebow beat Brady. At least Denver has a Defense.
Frankly, Denver doesn’t have half a chance against Brady at Patriots Stadium.
Ssorry, but I refuse to refer to stadiums by their mercenary corporate names. I mean kudos to the free market, but it makes me puke naming a stadium after corporations.
I mean, what’s next, Ex-Lax Stadium? Depends Field? Tampax Dome?
“...Ssorry, but I refuse to refer to stadiums by their mercenary corporate names....”
I’m with you on that point. I always refer to a stadium with what name it was when it opened. FedEx Field will ALWAYS be Jack Kent Cooke Stadium, Sun Life Stadium will ALWAYS be Joe Robbie Stadium, Qualcomm Stadium will ALWAYS be San Diego Stadium , and Cowboys Stadium will ALWAYS be Cowboys Stadium no matter what corporate name is hung on it.
