2012 National Agricultural Classification Survey
Now, since I don't farm, I shouldn't have to fill this crap out, but it just aggravates me. This thing is more intrusive than the Census. I got peeved when I saw in the opening "Response is required by law", and then the information it seeks gets even worse and more intrusive. For example, the last item asked is the farm's operator's race.
As a said, I apparently don't have to fill this crap out, but I thought I would ask to see if any other FReepers got this, and inquire about their opinions...
I told them I’m raising Tasmanian Devils. They wanted to know if I had a license. I sent them a photocopy of my driver license. They threatened to throw me in jail. I threatened to turn my Tasmanian Devils loose. They threatened to confiscate my farm. I threatened to make them live up to that promise. They threatened to make my life a living hell. I said I was already married. They threatened to tie me up in court for years. I told ‘em I wasn’t into that kinky stuff.
This is part of the Census of Agriculture, which is done every 5 years, the last one being in 2007. If you’re not involved in agriculture there’s no reason to respond, but I’d suggest you notify the gummint of that fact to save future aggravation. And to save us taxpayers a few stamps ;-)
LMAO! I feel like that! A younger LRS might have scrawled “Ain’t none of your damn business!” on every page and mailed it back in! But I’m getting old, so I’ll follow the instruction and let them know that I do not farm.
Just tell you are growing marijuana, poppy, and coca.
“in the mail “
If not certified mail or subpoena, you may ignore.
Just don’t admit you ignored it.
Fedzilla is demanding I complete a 4-page survey ... about my garden! (vanity)
