Beautiful graphic, of the little bird on one foot, Kitty!
I just read that birds do that to keep their tiny feet and legs from freezing in cold weather.
Here's a Golden Crowned Sparrow, doing the same thing:

Your sweet little bird looks like he’s warming up one foot while he stands on the other one. He is standing in the snow. Guess we don’t know all their little secrets but they bring lots of joy to us!
