RUSSELL Brand and Katy Perry are to divorce.
Comedian Brand, 36, said today: "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."
Brand and the pop singer married in October 2010.

Our celebs have been letting us down recently...I might be in the minority here, but I think Katy Perry is a doll; pretty, ok voice, but great comedic timing. I think she will step out of popdom and into movies. She is a natural.
Katy is no different than Alice Cooper, their on-stage persona is just that, it doesn’t reflect their true personality.
I wonder if Elmo (or at least his muppeteer) tried to do any Muppet Motorboating.

Really, if you get a chance to watch the episode earlier this year,she did a great job on SNL. She had good timing and she wasn’t staring off for cue cards—which a lot of the hosts do. She will make the transition to movies much easier than Madonna. She was horrible.
She’d be fun for ~3 hours, then evacuate the area ASAP.
