It was a moment to remember and Drew Brees handled it with the class that has always characterized his career. What impresses me about Brees (likewise with Joe Montana) is that he’s not the prototypical 6’4” quarterback. He look so ordinary — he could pass for a clerk at Home Depot — but when the football is in his hand, he weaves a special kind of magic.
I love that guy! If he worked at Home Depot, he’d be one of the most handsome workers there. I’d definitely shop there more often. He deserves the record. Who Dat?!
Awesome!
Awesome!
A real class act! Congrats to Brees and the Saints.
In the Super Bowl Brees will slaughter the Pack!
The Pack has no pass defensive qualities! :<(
It’s worth noting that Brees, a Pro Bowler for the Chargers, wasn’t needed by San Diego and was available to any team that wanted to sign him. Including my 49ers, who ignored the opportunity, and also ignored local boys Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers when they came out in the draft. Must be karma for having had Joe Montana and Steve Young back to back.
I just saw Brees taking a knee in the locker room while Sean Peyton was talking to the team, ala Tim Tebow.

That was just awesome to watch.
San Diego eat your heart out for dumping Brees.
He done good.
Brees is GREAT, but Aaron Rogers will still come away with NFL MVP honors.
