The collards and dwarf kale are still growing, too...as is the catnip and catmint.
Looks like it quit raining down yonder y’all?
Ever see “Day of the Triffids”?
If the doorbell rings and there’s nothing but greenery on the front porch, don’t open the door.
I may have read the book, but I'm fairly certain that I didn't see the movie. It sounds interesting, though.
The classic black and white movie has this scene:
Man is in the forest, hears something move.
He turns in shock and fear to see.. a plant.
He laughs and begins to turn away.
The plant sprays poison pollen in his face.
Sounds good! LOLOLOL!
It did stop raining and we had a peek at the sun yesterday afternoon. It is overcast so far today, but we are not expecting rain.
I’ve been trying to decide the colors for our pantry. Just plain cream, white, pink, beige just isn’t interesting. I think I’ll do a scene such as the one you posted. I’ll put that picture in there for a couple of days then decide. I’m just not in the mood for plain, plain, plain one color.
Thank you for posting that tubebender. Got my juices moving.
Wanna share some of that rain with us? We’ve had some, but not enough.
LOL
Please know that if I could share some rain with you, I’d do it in a heartbeat. We were dry today and the back end of the front, along with the clouds, cleared around 4 this afternoon. We had a peek at the sun right before it set.
WOW tubebender, you put a differet outlook on what I thought would be a nifty ceiling painting. I could lighten it up, instead of the deep purple.
I like your tag line. Right now I’m doing just that for the 2012 presidential election.
Red sky at morning, sailor take warning ... red sky at night, sailor’s delight.
I had a pup that went to 14 yr old. They really are your best friends for life. I have a picture of her with all the other family photos in our bedroom, and on my screen saver slide show.
Please post updates on your move. I know that things are very hectic. When we moved, we had a bit more time; several months. I never want to do that again!
HA Ha, I just did a quick sketch, the deep orange is a deep yellow and as the orange lightens, so does the yellow. The deep purple is shades of lavendar and lillac with bits of pale, pale (almost white) lillac. Thanks for the ceiling idea. It’s going to look great, and the walls will be sponged shades of yellow. Great! Thanks!!!
If you did that in the pump house you could call it the “Cistern Chapel”...
Yep, LOL. Wait till I finish the garden shed. The outside is red the roof white and clear. The inside is a revolving color scheme. Now I’m waiting for hubby and helper to do my porch and steps. The roof of the porch I’m thinking of putting in corrogated resign. It may be clear or white.
