Just hours before, she joined her husband for a Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace with the Queen. But it was just the young royal set at the Sun Military Awards tonight.
The Duchess of Cambridge was the belle of the ball in a strapless black velvet dress as she walked the red carpet with her husband Prince William, who looked dapper in black tie
Prince Harry was two steps behind his older brother at London's Imperial War Museum, also donning a suit.
Kate's black Alexander McQueen gown - the same designer as her wedding dress - had frill trim around the bust and a fishtail-style skirt. It was so long on the five-foot, 10-inch Duchess, that she had to keep hitching it up to keep it from scraping on the ground.

She has arms????
I remember years ago, I'd seen Nancy Lopez, of LPGA fame, on TV many times. I assumed she was a fairly big girl.
And then I went to a tournament. My girlfriend and I saw her on the putting green, warming up. I was shocked at how tiny she was, even though she was well past her prime, and a bit overweight. One of the greatest golfers of all time, but she was such a petite, physically unimpressive-looking little thing.
LOL!!!
Oh come on, EDINVA... you know you could rock that dress!
She is just really lean. You clearly know nothing about steroids. Look at all the pictures at the link.
LOL....and I hope you are joking ;)
The color is a little strange though. The Royal Family usually wears black only for mourning.
LOL. Like what I was wondering, “What holds a dress like that up?”
As a woman, I think Kate and Pippa are incredibly beautiful. They ooze class without trying. I’m a brunette as well, and they just have the perfect shade of brown on their heads.
Also, as someone on the thin side (5 foot 4, 110-115 lbs, depending on the time of the month, LOL), I can vouch about the arm thing. My ‘baby’ is now four, but when he was younger, and I was lifting him on a regular basis, my arms looked a lot more muscular on top than they do now. I’ve had four babies, and the same thing happens each time they are young and getting picked up on a regular basis.
The article mentioned that the dress was too long. It also revealed that she is 5’ 10” — taller than I’d thought.
Whale bones.

Boulder, maybe ;)
I DID look at the other pix and her arms look perfectly normal, so apparently that one pic got some bad lighting. Also, following the link showed a news story I’ve not yet read here .. Chaz Bono broke up with its girlfriend of 12 years. Gotta love those Brit papers.
Lesbians don't like men, real or chemically induced. Go figure, huh?
I’ll add some selections from one of my favorite albums, Genesis’ “Duke”

One word ... perfection.
Honestly, that whole GLBT (whatever) scene kinda creeps me. I’ve known some homosexuals who live, for all the world, normal lives, living quietly with their ‘partners,’ and that’s not creepy to me, but all this ‘gender modification’ is more than I can handle.
Have we yet seen a permanent gay celebrity ‘marriage’ or ‘civil union?’ (not that celebrity heterosexual unions are big on longevity). Come to think of it, the whole celebrity culture creeps me out!
It’s disturbing, yes. What disturbs me most about the whole “trans” thing is that every person in every situation and every chance encounter is required to maintain the ruse or be labeled some sort of phobe. It’s not enough to be quietly dysfunctional and imagining that one’s body isn’t what it’s supposed to be, no, we all have to play along, making liars of us all, making us somehow complicit. Very anti-individual, ultimately, despite plumbing the depths of libertine.
I wasn’t familiar with those groups. Those are interesting songs.

I rented a place from a 'transexual' who went from a woman to a 'man' and plays the role of a homo male. Now tell me where is the freakin' logic in that? If you like the 'male member' so to speak, why not just stay a woman?
The (lack of) logic escapes me....
