Yes this was a lot of luck. But the old, reliable Prevent Defense came through again. I will never figure out why coaches love this guaranteed way to convert a win to a loss. How many times have wee seen this?
The entire team has improved since Tebow took over, but especially the defense, which has kept the team in the game. The Broncos are famous for wearing down teams at home due to the elevation. The wins on the road are different. This team is playing hard for Tebow after giving up on Orton. The kicking game is also top quality. Tebow is a leader who has the team playing hard. As a passer, he is erratic.
We will get a better picture of Broncos strength next Sunday.
Luck - No
Divine intervention - No
Team effort - Yes
I think Tebow’s leadership has inspired the team as a whole to step up their level of play. Did they - as a team - give up being 10 points down and 2 minutes left - No. The defense did what it needed to do - force a turnover. The offense did what it needed to do - score, and the Special teams did what they needed to do - place the offense/defense in the best postion possible.
When all three elements come together - you win games. That seems to be the formula and it’s working.
yeah, yeah, yeah, coulda woulda shoulda . bears lost as a team , broncos won as a team
