If you chose to live in a commune, that’s fine. The problem is that Communism goes against human nature. The vast majority of humans are greedy to some degree. Communism as a government has to deny people of their basic human rights, so I hate it.

Communism as a government has to deny people of their basic human rights . . .This answer gets the "Nail on the Head" Award. Communism is based on false assumptions. People will not work or take risks if they are not rewarded according to their efforts, success and risks. What would the NFL be like if all the players made the same salary?

Guitar Josh gave a fine answer.
I might add that as a Christian, you have acknowledged that you are a sinner and you need a savior, as do all the other people on this earth. Among those sins which we try to overcome but will fail to do so because of our sinful nature are greed, covetousness, envy, pride, hate, slothfulness, etc. Oh, and of course the big one, "Thou shalt have no other God's before Me." If you believe you have those all tackled as does everyone else in your world, than establish your communistic utopia. But, it is doomed to fail, because you can not live up to it's expectations.

Greed and self-interest are different things. It’s like the difference between having a desire for your wife and having a desire to go downtown and find a prostitute.
