The Newt Gingrich campaign has opened its national phone banks for supporters nationwide to make calls to Iowa voters prior to the upcoming caucuses. You just have to join the Newt 2012 campaign, and then are provided access to the call center, with the name and number of a potential Iowa voter. A easy-to-read script is provided.
This is a great way for Freepers nationwide to participate in the Iowa campaign, even if they are out of state.

I have gotten several calls to raise funds from “newt” and I live in NYS ..not a state he is likely to win if he gets the nomination ...
I’ve already gotten several robocalls down in Texas.
With all the Newt bashing that has been going on led by Karl Rove I finally have had enough a made a donation to Newts campaign. Normally I would have waited a while longer.
They don’t provide an 800-number, I guess they can’t afford it yet. What I have done - and urged others to do - myself and a few friends have purchased the $45 prepaid phone card from Walmart - which is unlimited calls and texts for 30 days. It is delivered by email with your pin number, and then we then each take a couple days each week to use the card, as our schedules allow.
My share was %9.00 for 30 days, and will rollover into the New Hampshire primary, when the campaign will have a NH national phone bank set up. Please get involved. Please Help Newt! I was very proud of him last night. Thank you very much.
People who call me on the phone turn me away from their candidate.
I don’t mind canvassers in person.
I won’t even answer the call if its from a number I don’t recongnize or especially out of my local area.
Have sent Newt 3 contributions already.Might get the ambassador to Libya job!!!

Out of curiosity, what Republican is likely to win in NYS?
We have the same problem here in CA, that's why I do like to participate in national call programs where I can communicate with voters in states that actually do vote for Republicans.
I got ENDLESS fundraising calls from "Newt" after agreeing to sign up for his "American Solutions" newsletter in 2007 in order to take a photo with him. I sent a cease and deist letter and they STILL didn't stop the calls until I threatened to record the phone conversation with one of his telemarketing lackeys. It's one of the reasons I won't support that scam artist Newt for dog catcher.
I’m not a Gingrich supporter. He’s smart and good at debating, but he’s a RINO and I wouldn’t trust him for dog catcher much less the presidency.
Can we call Iowa voters to tell them NOT to vote for Newt?
