But the league ruled that when a player’s hair is that long, it is considered part of his jersey. I agree that the result is the same risk of injury is similar to the “horse collar”, but that’s more the fault of the hair grower than the tackler. There is one guy on the Bengals who’s hair goes down to his butt. Seems unfair that his whole back is “off limits”. It would otherwise become “strategy” for every receiver or RB to grow caveman hair so nobody could grab him.
Thanks for the explanation, but seems unfair. There are countless instances where the QB bobbles the ball while doing this. Should be changed back to a fumble.
