You’re both crazy. Costner’s roll in Tin Cup should have won him the best actors award, along with Cheech as his quirky side kick for supporting actor.
I’m not joking. Compared to some of the other garbage that has won the Oscars in recent years.
Costner’s best film easily was “Silverado”. He defined that role. He was perfect. I am no fan of Costner and feel he can’t carry a film himself as the primary actor. I thought he was terribly lightweight in The Untouchables as Eliot Ness. Anybody would have done better, but in Silverado, he was the perfect supporting actor. He just completely nailed that role.
