...he would soon be heading into his second decade in prison.
But Jerry Sandusky did NOT bring little girls home to the Sandusky household or taken a little girl as his guest to the Outback Bowl. That would have raised eyebrows. No. Sandusky always seemed to have little boys around, so that was okay. That was safe, everybody told themselves. And what could they say about it anyway?
Had the 1998 witness seen Sandusky fondling or raping a 10-year-old girl rather than a little boy, and had the burly 28-year-old former PSU quarterback Mike McQueary witnessed Sandusky raping a 10-year-old girl, there would have been no running to Daddy or waiting until the next day to tell somebody about it. There would have been no hesitation about what to do. There would have been no reluctance to point the finger and condemn Sandusky as a pedophile.
At the very core of Penn State's ruinous scandal, homosexuality is the elephant in the room - - homosexuality and the political correctness that comes with it. Regular old pedophilia is easy to get publicly outraged about. Even the suspicion of regular old pedophilia elicits menacing sneers at the accused.
But little boys? Well, that's different. That's a homosexual thing, and well, you just have to be... careful. Especially on a college campus where the homosexual "community" rules the day. (Shrug. Gotta be "tolerant" don't you know... enlightened and all that stuff. ..because I'm a good, live-and-let-live person. Que sera sera. Who am I to judge? Etc.)
Homosexuality. Yes, George and Jerry, there's something wrong with that.
When Graham Spanier took over the reins as Penn State's president in 1995 he vowed to make the campus the most LGBT-friendly campus in the nation. Since the arrival of Grahm Spanier as university president, Penn State has sponsored 'the Tent of Consent' all about gay sex - - as well as C*ntfest. (Remember that?)
Somebody please ping me if they happen to spot a Sandusky story out of the Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms that uses the phrase "predatory homosexual pedophile", or even just the word "homosexual"! Even now, the Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms are dancing around the obvious, ignoring the elephant in the room.
To ignore the fact these particular pedophiles are gay is to miss the revolutionary change that is taking place around us.
And, no, I'm not saying this has never happened before in history; in fact, it's happened frequently and always ends badly.

Ok, enough already. Happy to see your name in print? Geeze.
For your edification the Catholic Church has paid out hundreds of millions of dollars as reparations for alleged atrocities committed long after the Statute of Limitations had passed. That’s a good thing done by the communion of persons showing great understanding of sin and forgiveness. I have never met any Catholic person who excused in any way the conduct of this or any other pedophile. That is the Catholic Church to which we belong.
Penn State condoned the raping of children.
The gender of the victims has no bearing on the severity of the crimes.
It's a very weird fixation you have.
I don't agree with everything Lutherans or Buddhists are up to, but I don't spend all my time on this forum pointing out what I perceive to be their failings.
You seem to have a very small mind, since you filled it up so easily.
I have no problem calling a pedophile a pedophile, regardless of whether they wear a collar or not. Was there an institutional problem? Of course, and to deny as much would be every bit as dishonest as saying every member of that institution defended the cover-up(s).
It would be no different than saying that Mike Nifong abused his authority and the enforcement of rape statutes, therefore all prosecutors and laws against rape are evil. You paint with a broad brush. Evil should be called out for what it is, and when it's manifested itself in revered institutions, be they the Church, the military, a university football program, etc. it needs to be purged. It does not mean that every member of those respective institutions is guilty or complicit in that evil; in fact, it is frequently the members of the institution who have the highest stakes in putting things aright.
Yes, the frantic efforts to block out the homo aspect would be hilarious if not so sick.
Nobody said anything about "the severity of the crimes". The point is that the political correctness forced on normal people by the liberal homosexual media complex allowed the raping of children to continue for about a decade longer than it should have.
I can’t really agree with that. These guys are slick and get by with it every day with both sexes. Whenever one of these comes to light, it’s always that it went on too long and there were people who should have known

Heard a radio show the other morning running an online poll on what would you do? For an anonymous child more than 50% said they’d walk out. When the question was changed to your child it became better than 50% would take immediate action. Go figure.
If it’s me (and I’m not a large person) someone is getting their ass whipped. Might be me, but he’s stopping what he’s in the process of doing and the cops are on the way
As has been said here before, if only they allowed coaches to marry.
Stealing that
If it were me and I walked in on it, I’d either be dead or in prison.
You nailed it
BINGO little boy or little girl doesn’t matter is just a horrid. and painful
