Investigator: Herman Cain...Innocent of sexual advances
Private investigator TJ Ward says presidential hopeful Herman Cain was not lying when he denied making any sexual actions towards Sharon Bialek.
" Cain has not taken a polygraph but Ward said he does have software that does something better. Ward said the $15,000 software can detect lies in people's voices."
According to the CBS station in Atlanta
Using his software Ward watched as it analyzed Cain's every word.
"If he is hiding something this thing would have spiked way down here," said Ward. "He is being truthful, totally truthful. He is a man with integrity and he talked directly about not knowing any incident he is accused of."
"The software analyzes the stress level and other factors in your voice. During the speech, when Cain denied the claims, the lie detector read "low risk." According to Ward, that means Cain is telling the truth. "

LOL, no need to. My higher educational background was in this very subject (2 degrees, but not specifically in metacommunication, though it was one of the two major areas of study). I’ve said Obama was a liar since he was campaigning, using a monotonous, hypnotic voice as a tactic. Hook him up to the machine, by all means, but people with any degree of interest can tell the liars at teh drop of the hat. Luckily both metacommunication and body language are something that is impossible to hide. People talk about Freudian slips, when only about 10% of what you communicate is even in words. Nearly 30% is metacommunication (tone, speed, inflection and volume), and about 70% body language. The fact is, that even a politician’s words will betray them, if you give them ample opportunity to talk. Just like Perry letting us know we’re heartless racists. I could have told you that by the way he talked, long before he actually said it.

Maybe, but the way people talk is a far more effective means of lie detecting than the words they say in a he said, she said scenario. You communicate 3X more by your voice than by your words.
Yah, but it was reported that Cain was telling the truth, all that matter (liberal media think!)
Either way I still love Herman. But not as much.

Note this article was written in 2004. Perhaps the technolgy has improved. I would like to see the results of a more recent study.
He may not realize he is lyjng...he only says what his boss, Mr. TelePrompTer, tells him to.
In light of the horrific sex abuse that occurred at Penn State, it is a travesty that this lying piece of crap is trying to all but align what appears to be no more than a meeting between two adults with the criminal acts these poor children went through.
Don’t know about this particular expert, but continued reluctance of Cain’s accusers to make any official statements speaks volumes. This is a hatchet job. Even if Cain isn’t the nominee, it is battle that needs to be fought to a definite conclusion.
