Hello Everybody!
I am back in town after a lovely week on the beach with my beloved sister.
It was “Hot Rod Week” in Daytona, and the cars were wonderful! Antique Packards, and Vintage Mustangs, Cameros, Corvettes, Old Ford trucks, low riders and Hot Rods filled the streets day and night. The folks showing the cars were very cool and eager to talk about their rides! There was a parade of cars at night, and in the daytime they were on display in the Beals Parking Lot.

Daytona also has a world famous flea market right next to the speedway, and I got a MARTIN GUITAR in perfect condition for $75.00. Yes. You read that right. The guitar is a perfect replacement for the one I made, and sold for $75.00, and MISSED so badly! (For the uninitiated, Martins START at about $1000.00.) Since I paid nothing for the guitar I made, sold it for $75.00, and then bought the Martin for the same price, it is as if I got the new guitar for free. It was in a very old, rotting cardboard case, but the guitar is in excellent condition. I haven’t seen a cardboard guitar case in many years, so this guitar could be 40 years old or more. Anyway, it has perfect tone and intonation, and one teeny chip in the varnish that nobody can see anyway. I can’t help but think that it is a direct gift from above.

The ocean was cold and blustery, it reminded me of Cape Cod! LOL!

For Those of you who are following the Book of Proverbs with DarthVader and Kingattax, I will be back on duty tomorrow morning with Proverbs 13.
