Have you ever tried peanut butter in your chili? I use 96/4 Ground round to make my chili, so the added ‘fat’ in the peanut butter is a nice addition, only in the individual servings of course, since some don’t like adding to my chili.

No, I have not ever tried that, although I have heard it was good. When I was in elementary school we always had a choice between cheese or peanut butter sandwich with our chili. I always picked cheese.

I never liked peanut butter, not even in cookies. My grand-kids like it, and I find that if I add some maple syrup to it I can eat a small amount on a cracker. It is just not a favorite to me.

Maybe I'll mention it to the kids. They might want to try it. Thanks for the tip.
