As a conservative, this upcoming election is a pivotal one. As our country continues with its economic woes, protesters and the media add to the chaos. To top it off, I was/am a Palin supporter and need to find someone else to vote for.
Rick Perry mandated HPV shots to 12-year-old girls because he was emotional over his mom's death. Illegal kids get a better deal on college in his state. If he has plans for the economy, I have not seen or heard the details of them.

The fact that I do not like or trust Donald Trump does not mean I like career politicians or am opposed to businessmen or farmers being elected to high office. The opposite, in fact, is true.
I have no problem with either Mr. Cain or Ms. Palin, but in my opinion Donald Trump is ALMOST as much of a self-absorbed narcissist as Barack Obama. I think he would be a TERRIBLE president.

At this point, I think he can, too. That’s why the Left MUST destroy him at all costs. - He is a REAL black man who has made it without whining and riding the fake “victim” Democrat bus. He’s an example of a black man who got off the Democrat “plantation”.
I doubt Romney can beat Obama. His “Romneycare” looks too much like “Obamacare’s” twin; in fact, the White House “leaked” that Romney’s advisers on his healthcare helped and advised Obama draft his healthcare monstrosity.
Given he’s a RINO; I’m looking elsewhere despite the fact that the “powers that be” seem to have anointed him.
If the name of the game is to re-elect the wannabe dictator, Obama; they’re on the right track.

You’re right, and for me, there’s no *great* second choice, because nobody comes close to Sarah Palin, but I will make a choice, you betcha, and I’m considering all.
I have an advantage because I met them in person and got to spend time talking to each one.

None of you understand how it is that China rose from being a stone age country a few decades ago to now making everything. Well Our politicians gave it away to China . Now China keeps the U.S.A propped up by lending us trillions.
Put tariffs and quotas on Chinese products now. Make things in the U.S.A again. Repeat with other countries. Close the border.

Of course you also need add what Palin says to do , reduce regulations on American businesses ,reduce taxes , drilling here, and the other things she would do.
I'm still getting to know Herman Cain, but that's one attribute he has that stands out like a neon light. He's an anti-establishment patriot, which indeed makes him one of us.
Unless a miracle happens, and Sarah is convinced to change her mind, I think Herman will be my choice.
I think Cain is a train wreck waiting to happen. His 999 plan won’t stand up under scrutiny. What else does he have? Where’s the beef?
Seems to me like Newt and Santorum are the only other candidates, with records of actually accomplishing meaningful things, who actually grasp the gravity of the situation we are in, understand the importance and need for Constitutional Government. They are pro energy independence, and seem to align pretty well with Sarah on all issues. They both have records of being consensus-builders like Sarah does. Both stand firm regardless of critics. Newt ‘thinks outside the box’.
What am I missing?

We need to elect a Black, Hispanic, or Woman if we want to win, 6 years and beyond.
The dems will not let that happen.
And all the dumb Conservatives and Republicans never worry about the future. We need to expand are vote base or in 6 years it's over for the Republican Party.
That being said Cain and Bachman both have more charisma than all the rest.

I liked Bachmann till she turned on Palin. I have moved on now. I don’t feel Cain but will vote for him. I don’t like his 999 deal but he is still the best of whats out there. I won’t do the Romney Perry thing.

Herman Cain is no “token” anything. If you want to get to know him listen to some of his old radio shows or watch some of his interviews and speeches on Youtube. The more I research the more I like him.
