Who won the debate?
Republican Candidates ...One
Obama...........................Zero
This is what everyone needs to keep in mind. Do not lose the point of 2012 - ELECT ANYONE WHO IS RUNNING AGAINST OBAMA.
We have a thread winner!
I believe he has a nice family. And the motocross hobby doesn’t much fit that characterization. But he sure as heck is creepy!
LOL! Yes, the Repubs have big competition tonite.
We will have a World Series; another full season of baseball and another World Series before the 2012 election.
You will not find cain’s site even slightly helpful. It is the worst with nothing more than vague generalities.
Mitt Romney won in the sense that he did the most to advance his chances of winning the nomination. Newt Gingrich is great in these debates, but we all know that he’s not a good executive. He doesn’t even run his own campaign well except when he’s in a debate. Herman Cain is putting all of his eggs in the 9-9-9 basket. He’s a good man, but he needs to show himself as more than a one-dimensional candidate. His plan will never get through the Senate. Michele Bachmann did better tonight than she’s done in recent debates, but she’s a long way from really advancing her chances of winning the nomination.
There was a report yesterday in the New York Post that Emperor Me hangs it up for the day at 1600 hours. 4:00PM.
This sucka has to be one of the laziest presidents to ever occupy the office. No wonder he doesn't get anything done. Hard work is necessary - many times late into the wee hours - to get the work of a nation finished.
I guess I am looking at this from a different perspective. Romney is a liar and con; so how can he have won?
Newt won the debate, IMO. His answers came off not only as thoughtful but genuine, responding to questions instead of shoehorning a sound byte into whatever has been asked.
I think I’ll be supporting Newt based on the debates. The media has parroted again and again and again that Obama is supposedly so intelligent, and that on this intelligence we’re to overlook all his feckless, callow negatives. People can say Newt’s unelectable all day, but in a Gingrich-Obama contest, it would be blatantly obvious that Newt is the smart one.
Plus, I think Newt might be the only candidate out there right now that both conservatives and establishment types would be OK with. Like when you’re arguing about where to go for dinner, and somebody wants steak and somebody wants seafood, Newt’s the Italian restaurant that everyone says “yeah, that’s OK with me. I can get steak or seafood there.”
Romney did well also in a very traditional sense, but every debate he just deepens my distrust of him. Romney reminds me of an NFL coach. He talks and talks and talks, but never says anything.
He looked like a very broken man.
In addition, reporter-friend who covered him getting back on AF-1 tonight said he looked “very tired.’
Nixon 1974
be well
Ron Paul is the only electable candidate running on his pro-peace message. The others are all just establishment clones.
Ron Paul blames America for 9/11. He’s a Class A 100% asshole.
Cain picked up a lot of Palin supporters here when Palin decided not to run. And I’m guessing they don’t want to jump ship after one debate.
Do tea partiers really want a new national sales tax?
And all that 999 stuff all the time is getting silly, like a joke. He makes a good speech, there’s nothing in his record that is absolutely terrible like Perry and Romney have.
