Im not sure if Ive ever heard a more offensive interview on MSNBC than the one I just heard from Lawrence ODonnell with Herman Cain. In one interview ODonnell managed to accuse Herman Cain of not only sitting on the sidelines during the civil rights movement, but also of dodging the Vietnam war. His contempt for a black Republican has never been more clear. At one point in the interview, ODonnell asked Cain where America would be right now if Rosa Parks took his dads advice to stay out of trouble and just sit in the back of the bus. Seriously. It was like he was trying to prove that Cain hadnt earned his black skin or something. It was terribly offensive and I hope Cain never steps foot again in the studios of MSNBC.
I will say that Cain proved he could hold his own and not be rattled by the offensive assumptions of these whackos on MSNBC. He hit back in the interview several times but always kept his cool. He could have hit back more in my opinion but overall I think he did great.
Its a long interview but it covers four main topics: Brainwashing, Civil Rights Movement, War dodging, and the 9-9-9 plan.
I Googled O’Donnell to check out his military service. Needless to say I didn’t find any, but I did find this:
O’Donnell calls himself a “practical European socialist” in a Newsmaker Interview dated November 11, 2005.[22] On November 6, 2010, O’Donnell re-declared himself a socialist on the Morning Joe show. The MSNBC host stated, “[U]nlike you, I am not a progressive. I am not a liberal who is so afraid of the word that I had to change my name to progressive. Liberals amuse me. I am a socialist. I live to the extreme left, the extreme left of you mere liberals.” [23] On the 1 August 2011 episode of The Last Word, O’Donnell further explained, “I have been calling myself a socialist ever since I first read the definition of socialism in the first economics class I took in college.”
You won't even miss the 25 or 50 cents, but at the end of the month you will have at least $5 to donate so FR can operate smoothly, or you will moan and grown and go into withdrawal when it is down, because of broken parts, or over loaded servers during crisis events, and every day 0 is in office is a crisis. Chose the E thank you card to save $$ and stamps.

“We have a difference of opinion. Next question.”
How much time could be saved if more people said that.
you'd be lucky to get even one of them to open it much less read it.
.... and Herman Cain did it all without a teleprompter!
That was tough but we quickly got to the business of finding a candidate who could embody a conservative worldview as well as conservative values and yet had the ability to articulate those positions and bring people to the polls to vote for them. I chose Herman Cain. So did many other FReepers. Yes, a few questions still linger but nothing that would make Cain a persona non grata to conservatives. This MSNBC interview with Lawrence O'Donnells clumsy attempts to embarrass Herman Cain, a well-educated, patriotic, highly accomplished black man showed us that Cain was able to handle this kind of all-too-common liberal media hostility and come off looking even smarter and more likeable than when the interview began. This is a very valuable ability for a conservative presidential candidate and Herman Cain just proved beyond a reasonable doubt that he has it.
Bravo, Mr. Cain! May you continue to vanquish the flaming swords of hate that smug communists like Lawrence O'Donnell will use against you. They are vicious but in the minority and America is slowly waking up to where they want to lead us - and it isn't utopia. My support for Herman Cain is now 100% and I hope he quickly rises to the top of the polls and pushes posers like Romney and lukewarm candidates like Perry off the field so he can get his message to the American people. I wish him complete success and harbor a fond hope that, to propel Cain's ascendency, Sarah Palin would endorse him. That would be a great contribution by Sarah Palin to the cause of restoring our republic and I hope that happens, soon.
If you haven’t watched it yet, it is a must see. :)
I like that part but what concerns me is the long term consequences of implementing the sales tax portion in addition to the income tax.
What happens 20-30 years from now when half the population of the next generation decides they want "change" and elects another democrat? If we decide to go the 9-9-9 route today are we potentially burdening our children/grandkids with another tax that future socialists will want to raise?
I personally would rather see us go to just a national consumption/sales tax at a higher rate and do away with taxing income.
I can’t get an audio on either of my computers. Grrrr...
This is a must-see. To really understand who Herman Cain is, and how he will stand up to the most rabid psychotic elements of the far left progressive media, you’ll never have a better answer to that question than if you watch this in its entirety. Mr. Cain endures a solid 20 minutes of gotcha, offensive, insulting questioning from one of the left’s darlings and he doesn’t even break a sweat. And he’ll only get better! He really can do this, and I’m a happy camper.

LOVE your tagline!
If Romney is the nominee he will destroy Obama. And I am not a Romney supporter.
A bumpy ride because I suspect we haven’t seen the last of this type of interview. Now that Cain is picking up speed I wonder if he will get asked any questions at all at the next debate or what games the mod will try to play with him.

LOL Ignore that post. I came to this thread to get the url and then posted to the wrong thread! Humble apologies.
This is the rant that got O’Donnell booted from McLaughlin Group—a screaming tirade against Mitt’s religion:

I love this post! And I love Cain!
I’m a Cracker for Cain!
Thank you so much for your posts. I’m going to get to your emails ASAP.
I’ve had one unbelievable week, and will tell you all about it.
I stole it from somebody else, I can’t remember who.
