Yep he said it this A.M. At the end of the interview Gretchen added a disclaimer that Fox did not agree with him.

I am just glad there are still some men in country music who aren’t Hussein cultists. Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, and a few others are apparently REALLY big fans of the commie.

If this causes a stink I hope Fox plays all the instances of Bush being called Hitler or worse.

I saw him say it but missed Gretchen’s apology tour. You could tell she, Steve and Brian were all uncomfortable. They were asking about Obama & Boehner playing golf and Hank Jr. said it would be like Netanhayu playing golf with Hitler. Hard to believe it has been 20 years of Hank singing “Are You Ready for Some Football?”. Then I was off to fix breakfast and lunches for the kids.

Love Hank Jr! I remember seeing him with Sarah Palin in 08 in Richmond. He had a campaign song for Sarah that was awesome. I’ll have to look it up.

I didn’t see it either. but I would wager a bet he might be talking about the Socialist MO.

Hitler got people all worked up over the Jews. He cured the unemployment problem by creating a MASSIVE military buildup. (Gov.Jobs) He confiscated the wealth of the country.

When he saw his plan A was getting ready to collapse, he started on the Russians, plan B.

I’ve come to the Conclusion that Socialism is a mental illness. It is failed people with an exagerated since of paranoia that someone is at fault for their failures as human beings.
for Hitler is was the Jews.
For Obama it is the evil capitalist. although he is in bed with them (H had Jewish Blood), if it means he gets to keep power for a few more years he will attack.

One thing they all have in common is that their first instinct to any problem is to destroy civil society.

actually their plan is on track. Colleges are graduating students that can’t find work. UE figures are through the roof.

Sadly people are ready to reliquish their freedoms for a few
coins.

they'll hound this poor man out of his NFL opening song over this

It's a shame but the left is vicious and any opinion contrary to their own must be crushed

It's his opinion and to silence him is wrongheaded

There certainly are any number of similarities

And no one seemed to have a problem calling Bush a Nazi or Hitler or drawing Bush with a Hitler mustache

.

I have to disagree with Hank, on this one.

Hitler built Germany up.

0bama is tearing America down.

I used to violate Godwins law all the time and compare Obama to Hitler. But it was really his FOLLOWERS that were like the followers of Hitler.

Obama, as he has exercised his position, is really much more like Mussolini.

I laughed while watching that. The three Fox hosts had horrified looks on their face as Hank carried on.

Then Hank said something like “if you are going to ask me questions like that, then I am going to say what I think”.

I could tell Brian had that thing in his ear telling him to change the subject.

It was really funny.

What Hank was talking about was the infamous golfing four some earlier this year.

He believes, and IMHO rightfully so, that the Republican and Democratic positions are so opposed that photo opportunities like the golf game are absolutely useless.

He called the Democrats our enemies. That rocked the Fox and friends team back on their heals. When the, the Fox and Friends hosts, pushed the issue Hank said something along the lines of:

“Us playing gold with the Democrats make as much sense as Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu”.

This was immediately followed with one of the hosts saying:
“Did you just compare Obama with Hitler?”

Hank was point out the idiocy of socializing with Democrats but it was the Fox and friends host that linked Obama and Hitler, not Hank.

A bit off topic, last on HBO’s “Hung” there were two slams on 0bama.

1) When Tanya started to talk about 0bama’s small business loans Ray told her to shut her mouth.

2) When Ray was with the two women from the bank, the female loan officer said under Bush loans were “flying out the door”.

3) btw, Rebecca Creskoff is hot. She's 40 but looks 30.

He did not compare Obama to Hitler. He used a metaphor to show the disparity in viewpoint between dems and conservatives. There is as much difference between dems and conservatives as there is between Netanyahu and Hitler.

We do ourselves no favors by pressing figures of speech beyond what they were intended. IMHO
