Going to get an early post for Sunday morning here at Amy’s Place.
I received this in an e-mail on Friday and decided that this would be the perfect place to post it.
As I’ve mentioned before, the first solo I sang in church was “How Great Thou Art” way back when I was a sophmore in high school and this song has always had a very special place in my heart.
I think you’ll really enjoy this one...
How Great Thou Art - Barbershop Multi-track
Here is one that is unbelievable. This barbershop singer made this tape where he sings all four parts. There is not ever a miss cue. What a voice he has, such talent, & unbelievably perfectly on tune. Now that is a voice range to be able to sing bass, baritone, lead, & tenor—not even to say he did it all together with various tapings of himself. That is creativity at its best! I know you’ll enjoy this!

Just beautiful, Dave. I have shared this on facebook too. I love it!
Thanks, Diver Dave! I LOVE Multi-tracking! I did three Gilbert & Sullivan Operettas by myself using this technique. It was a lot of fun!
I LOVE that Hymn.
Thank you for sharing that!! Have a blessed Sunday!
Happy Lord’s Day to you all!

Dave, that was amazing and very beautiful. I had that
played and sung at my hubby’s funeral. We had met a
young man many years before. Our son brought him by our
house and we went to the living room and man, could he
play a piano! Many years later we had talked about this
young man so we got in touch with him to perform at the
funeral. He also played and sung Amazing Grace and another
favorite of my husband’s, The Old Rugged Cross.
That song always brings back many memories for me.
Thanks a lot.
Most certainly did!! Thank you very much!!
This is SO impressive, DD! Thank you for sharing it with us all!
