The call of Broadway was too strong for Willow and she had to follow her dream.
She wants to be a star!

What a nicely executed leap. I like how she draws up her hind legs to clear the flap.

I have been known to stare at that stupid GIF for minutes at a time. It is strangely hypnotic.

Alas she missed her chance there too. Poor thing is headed back to CO. By the time she is catnapped again Lion's run could be over.

It is hypnotic, especially when I opened the thread and it went reeeaaalllly slowly, in little bits. Then it was VERY hypnotic!

I was very happy to hear that Willow finally found her way back home. A follow-up article stated that the skier who found her and brought her to NYC eventually decided that they "didn't have enough time for her" and she ended up in the NYC Animal Care & Control center--which is a death sentence for a pet about 80% of the time, especially adult animals. I was astonished when this story broke, as Willow bears an amazing resemblance to my own little devil-girl Kefira:

That is not a Calico Cat (per se), it is known as a “Torbie”,
another variety of a female mutation of a Tabbie and a Tortoise-Shell.
My Master-Cat could be her sister. The distinctive colors are the asymmetrical Tabby colors, combined with blond streaks on their backs.
I don’t want to get nit-picky, but I had to research why my Master didn’t look like any cat I had ever seen in my life.

Hemingway House in Key West has a batch of descendants of his cats. They’ve got a live cam site that you can go to. It’s quite an operation.
