A cat has made an extraordinary journey of almost 2,000 miles after she went missing from Colorado five years ago and turned up in New York. Willow disappeared from a home in Broomfield but was found on Wednesday in Manhattan and will soon be reunited with her owners. Jamie and Chris Squires, of Boulder, Colorado, were shocked to hear of her whereabouts, but she had a microchip implanted as a kitten.

Looks like my Holly cat, who is now in cat heaven. Found her at a Christmas tree farm where she did her 'I'm, an adorable cat, give me a home' routine. Was told she was being fed there, but needed forever home.

She’s a Tortoise-Shell kitty.
My Baby-Cat looks like she could be her sister.

We had a “travel cat” some years ago. She’d disappear for days, then weeks, but she always came back healthy and well-fed. We named her Toby TravelCat. Then, one day, she left and never returned. Always wondered what happened to her.

...someone had to have moved her. i cant imagine she walked the whole way on her own. When you think about it that's only a little over a mile a day (1.1mile/day). There are feral cats in my neighborhood that range at least that far but they don't keep going in a straight line. They patrol their territory, scrounging for food and keep returning on a regular routine to my patio.

GtG
