A cat has made an extraordinary journey of almost 2,000 miles after she went missing from Colorado five years ago and turned up in New York. Willow disappeared from a home in Broomfield but was found on Wednesday in Manhattan and will soon be reunited with her owners. Jamie and Chris Squires, of Boulder, Colorado, were ‘shocked’ to hear of her whereabouts, but she had a microchip implanted as a kitten.

someone had to have moved her. i cant imagine she walked the whole way on her own.
did i read in the article that the guy has not only his cat but his kids microchipped?

The true story of this one cat’s journey to the “Big Apple” from the “Rocky Mountain state even surprises me, because to have been able to survive that long. :)=^..^=

I think he said that, not sure, please read article.
I suspect she could have gotten into a moving van or some other truck and she had gotten a free ride to NYC. I have heard amazing stories of cats who made long distance trips in the USA before.

When I was a child we had a kitten that climbed up into the undercarriage of my dads Cadillac Eldorado. It climbed out 3 hours later and about 150 miles from home in a motel parking lot. It was shaking like a leaf.
More likey someone stole/found this cat and moved it across country. This is why we micro chip all the puppies we sell. People steal purebred dogs all the time, especially puppies.

Could be this cat was moved, or stolan, hitched a ride in a truck/car to do a cross-country trip, maybe even walked, we will never know.
If animals can talk like, they would tell a lot of interesting stories. :)=^..^=
